Something new at Silver Spring: A Bible study by Beth Moore on Esther: It's Tough Being a Woman, which will be led by Ruth Stoll. You choose when you would like to attend.
Dates and Times:
Tuesday evenings, beginning September 14
7:00 - 9:00 p.m.
OR
Wednesday afternoons, beginning September 22
1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
The classes will continue for 10 weeks ending November 16 and December 1 respectively.
Join us in a very personal examination of the Old Testament story of Esther as Beth Moore peels back the layers of history and shows how very contemporary and applicable Esther\'s story is to our lives today. If you\'ve ever felt inadequate, threatened, or pushed into situations that seemed overpowering, this is the Bible study for you. Just as it was tough being a woman in Esther\'s day, it\'s tough today. This portion of God\'s Word contains treasures to aid us in our hurried, harried, and pressured lives, teaching us how to trust God\'s providence for the tough times! Cost of the study book is $15.00. This is a good opportunity to reach out to the community and invite a friend or neighbors to come with you.
The weekly study includes daily individual study, small group discussions, a video presentation in which Beth Moore speaks, enhancing the material in the book with additional truths and challenges.
