We have a vibrant music ministry at Silver Spring.
Sanctuary Choir
The Sanctuary Choir sings at each 10:45 service throughout the school year and at select 8:30 services. Over 30 members strong, the choir sings a mix of traditional, classical and contemporary music in four-part harmony. Opportunities for ensembles and solo performance exist throughout the year. The Choir rehearses in the Choir Room at 7:15 on Wednesday evenings throughout the school year. New members are encouraged to join us at any time!
Children's Choir
The Children's Choir is an opportunity for Kindergarten through Middle School children to perform in worship approximately 6 - 8 times throughout the year. They rehearse in the Choir Room from 9:15-9:30 on Sunday mornings.
Hand bell Choir
The hand bell choir includes youth and adult members. Performing at holidays and select Sundays throughout the year, the bell choir adds a lively musical element to our services. Rehearsals are Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m.
Christian Contemporary Band
Several of our youth work together with the Directors of Music to provide contemporary guitar, percussion and vocal music throughout the year at worship and to lead the congregation in Praise Hymns.
