Missions & Outreach

We are very concerned, not only about teaching faith, but how faith connects to and can make a difference in our world. Our youth share this same desire and have engaged in many mission and service opportunities. Some are far away: going to Wyoming to work on a reservation repairing homes, or to the Adirondack Mountains to work with a children's program and paint homes in disrepair. Some are close to home: making meals for our "Emergency Meals" freezer, or responding to the need of an older member of our congregation for yard work. Often their service embodies a "think globally, act locally" attitude, like collecting funds for Heifer Project International or making emergency kits for Church World Service. Our youth are always excited and energized by their ability to make a difference.

“Real religion...is this: Reach out to the homeless and loveless in their plight...” James 1.27 (MESSAGE)

Would you dare to be the hands and feet of Christ, or to impact your community and even the world with God’s love..?
